Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

• Address engaging and large-scale backend technical issues.

• Provide operational support to customers when escalated by the Client Services team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in software development.

• At least 2 years of experience supporting a large-scale application in an operational role.

• Enthusiasm for designing and developing backend software and APIs.

• Proficiency in object-oriented programming with languages such as Ruby.

• Experience in software development within a Linux/Unix environment.

• Familiarity with containerization platforms like Docker or Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of agile development practices (team-oriented, continuous improvement, automated testing, refactoring, continuous integration, pair programming).

• Strong communication skills.

• Ability to self-motivate and manage oneself effectively.

• Commitment to lifelong learning.
