Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Gibraltar.

📋 Description

• In this role, you will not only be writing code but also influencing the future. As a Software Engineer at Xapo, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying impactful backend services that are secure, resilient, and accessible to millions.

• You will fully own the services your team develops, overseeing everything from the initial design phase to production operations, all while receiving guidance from senior engineers.

• You may join one of our vibrant business domains: Wealth Management Team, Financial Crime Prevention, Customer Acquisition and Retention, or Member Money Movement.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess a solid foundation in software engineering and are adept in at least one programming language (we have a preference for Python!).

• You are an effective communicator and a natural team player who flourishes in a collaborative environment.

• You have a fundamental understanding of microservices, cloud-native architectures, and container-based applications.

• You are acquainted with the complete software development lifecycle and are enthusiastic about CI/CD and automated testing.

• You are intrigued by concepts such as Event-Driven Architecture and Domain-Driven Design.

• Most importantly, you embrace a growth mindset. You are proactive, eager to learn, and thrilled to tackle complex challenges at the intersection of traditional finance and Bitcoin.
