Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of the infrastructure utilized by our development and operations teams

• Designing, implementing, and managing our Linux infrastructure and systems

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong technical expertise in Linux-based server operating systems

• Hands-on experience with operating system functions, upgrades, and security patching

• Knowledge of networking, including TCP/IP, IP routing, NAT, and firewalls

• Familiarity with network services such as DNS, LDAP, and HTTP proxies

• Solid understanding of IT security practices and operating system hardening

• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Perl, Python, Go, etc.) and server automation tools (e.g., Ansible, CHEF)

• Experience managing server operations in expansive environments and public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
