Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• As a Senior Engineer on the Client Applications team at MediaRadar, your role will center around our range of web applications.

• You will play a key role in developing features that are utilized daily by thousands of marketing professionals from top brands.

• Consequently, your contributions will directly influence our company's growth and strategic direction.

• While your main focus may be on a specific product, there may be occasions when you need to assist with another.

• Our primary development is conducted within the Microsoft stack (C#, MSSQL, C++, PostgreSQL).

• Our applications vary from ASP .NET MVC utilizing Framework 4.8 with a blend of Razor and jQuery to .NET 8 APIs employing Angular 15+.

• Our backend support applications also leverage various forms of .NET.

• We are actively working to modernize all applications, so experience with such migrations is beneficial.

• Additionally, strong SQL skills are crucial for all projects, as many utilize Databricks and SQL Server as core data platforms.

• We are looking for engineers who can navigate intricate business domains and apply their technical skills to create innovative, high-quality solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in full-stack web development, particularly with a strong background in SaaS solutions.

• Demonstrated experience in identifying and addressing complex technical challenges, with a focus on delivering impactful solutions.

• A proactive attitude towards platform enhancements, consistently suggesting improvements that provide value and efficiency.

• Strong accountability for your work, with a history of delivering high-quality, scalable solutions within deadlines.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying both technical and non-technical concepts clearly, and willing to seek clarification when needed.

• A passion for producing clean, maintainable code that follows best practices and promotes long-term stability.

• A commitment to continuous learning, always aiming to remain updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

• A collaborative spirit, contributing not just to technical solutions but also to mentoring and sharing knowledge with colleagues.

• Experience with Agile methodologies, including SCRUM.

• Proficiency in full-stack web development, with solid knowledge of both .NET Framework and .NET Core (ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Core). Experience with .NET 8 is highly desirable.

• Strong SQL abilities, particularly in database programming with Microsoft SQL Server.

• Familiarity with front-end development using Angular (15+), jQuery, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.

• Experience with cloud solutions such as AWS or Azure.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines; specific experience with Bamboo or Azure DevOps is preferred.

• Knowledge of Object-Relational Mappers (ORMs) like NHibernate, Entity Framework, and Dapper.

• Familiarity with NUnit and Karma testing technologies is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with Elasticsearch is a plus but not required.

• Experience with Big Data and Data Warehousing solutions is beneficial but not essential.

• Familiarity with Modern C++; we are currently transitioning from legacy standard C++ to Modern C++.
