Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Work closely with fellow developers and domain experts to deliver outstanding products.

• Collaborate with geometry specialists to grasp their requirements and convert them into software solutions.

• Analyze geometric challenges and identify relevant computer science concepts and algorithms to address them.

• Write efficient and scalable code while considering performance and resource utilization.

• Make engineering choices regarding data access patterns, processing efficiency, and system design to ensure effective and cost-efficient solutions under real-world conditions.

• Engage in agile development activities, including sprint planning sessions, demonstrations, code reviews, and quality assurance efforts.

• Design, develop, and maintain C# libraries tailored for computational design applications.


⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in C# with experience in the .NET framework/.NET Core.

• Demonstrated ability to architect and develop reusable libraries focused on computational design applications.

• Proficient in understanding complex geometric issues and translating them into relevant computer science concepts (e.g., data structures, algorithms, design patterns).

• Proven skills in collaborating with domain experts (specifically geometry specialists) to design and implement effective software solutions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges.

• Proficient in Git or similar version control systems.

• Highly adaptable and eager to enhance your skills in a collaborative and engaging environment.

• Knowledge of computational geometry concepts and techniques is a significant advantage.

• Ability to write optimized code for applications where performance is critical.

• Experience with unit testing and various software testing methodologies.

• Familiarity with Agile development practices.
