Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Create scalable technical solutions in partnership with both local and remote engineering teams.

• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver top-notch features.

• Guide and assist junior engineers, fostering team development and engineering excellence.

• Operate independently with strong ownership and the ability to adapt to changing business priorities.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and testable high-quality code.

• Promote engineering best practices related to testing, automation, and code quality.

• Ensure that all solutions adhere to established quality and security standards.

• Engage in architecture discussions, design reviews, and code assessments.

• Evaluate feature performance and establish success metrics.

• Detect and resolve performance bottlenecks.

• Implement secure coding principles and adhere to system security best practices.

• Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and system design artifacts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

• Strong experience in backend software engineering and distributed systems.

• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and contemporary engineering ecosystems.

• Practical knowledge of technologies such as Kubernetes, Kafka, AWS, or similar tools.

• In-depth understanding of software quality, automated testing, and CI/CD methodologies.

• Awareness of secure coding practices and fundamental system security principles.

• Experience in mentoring less experienced engineers.

• Capability to work independently while effectively collaborating in distributed teams.

• Enthusiasm for clean code, innovation, and continuous improvement.
