This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and high-quality software solutions for enterprise-level applications.
• Influence and guide stakeholders at all levels, inspiring and motivating teams to meet product objectives.
• Collaborate across multiple interdependent products, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with the technical roadmap.
• Partner with engineering managers, product managers, and architects in planning, prioritization, and long-term strategy development.
• Assess new technologies, develop business cases for their adoption, and lead implementations to foster innovation and efficiency.
• Stay informed about industry trends and introduce fresh perspectives into the organization.
• Continuously enhance engineering processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Mentor and coach junior, mid-level, and senior engineers, cultivating a strong learning culture.
• Ensure software quality by identifying and rectifying defects, validating specifications, and executing QA processes.
• Develop and uphold quality control procedures that align with established standards.
• Adhere to company policies, HR guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in software engineering, including:
• o Proficiency in relevant programming languages and enterprise development principles (Angular, TypeScript, Java, Python, .NET, etc.).
• o Experience in leading and mentoring technical teams.
• o Substantial involvement in the development of complex, enterprise-level products.
