This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Engage in complex software engineering tasks encompassing backend, full-stack, infrastructure, and systems-related initiatives.
β’ Analyze, debug, enhance, and elucidate code across various technical environments.
β’ Design or assess practical solutions that involve APIs, databases, services, integrations, testing, and deployment workflows.
β’ Recognize tradeoffs regarding scalability, maintainability, performance, reliability, security, and developer experience.
β’ Articulate technical reasoning effectively in writing, including the rationale for a solution and the alternatives that were evaluated.
β’ Collaborate with the customerβs team on technical assessments, implementation choices, and problem-solving tasks.
β’ Quickly adapt to new codebases, frameworks, and technical specifications.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of practical software engineering experience.
β’ Significant experience in at least one backend or full-stack engineering environment, such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Java, C++, Go, or Ruby.
β’ Proven experience in building, maintaining, or reviewing production-level applications, APIs, services, databases, or integrations.
β’ Strong grasp of software engineering principles, including debugging, testing, code quality, architecture, and technical tradeoffs.
β’ Capability to convey complex engineering decisions in a clear and unbiased manner.
β’ Proficient in reading and reasoning through unfamiliar code or technical requirements.
