Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Analyze business and technical requirements, converting them into scalable technical designs, and implement new functionalities within the platform.

• Provide continuous technical support and troubleshooting for existing production features.

• Uphold high standards of code quality through adherence to best practices, code reviews, refactoring, and mentoring peers.

• Proactively identify, assess, and resolve issues concerning solution quality, functionality, performance, or any technical and business obstacles.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for new or improved features and system components.

• Actively engage in all Agile ceremonies and processes to deliver high-value, user-ready functionalities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional experience in developing backend applications using Java and/or Kotlin.

• Strong English communication skills, both in writing and conversation.

• A highly collaborative team player who excels in diverse and cross-functional settings.

• Strong expertise in Java 17+ and the Spring/Spring Boot framework.

• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Angular, Vue, or React to facilitate cohesive end-to-end solutions.

• Comfortable working with both relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB).

• Familiarity with development and deployment tools such as Maven, Bamboo, Git, JIRA, GitLab, and Bitbucket.

• Proficient in application performance tuning to improve efficiency and scalability.

• Outstanding analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.

• Self-motivated individuals who can independently plan, prioritize, and manage their workload.

• Ability to quickly adapt and perform effectively under tight deadlines and fast-paced release cycles.
