Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and manage GraphQL graph types, queries, mutations, and resolvers that expose Quantum ERP data.

• Enhance the Entity Framework Core data layer along with Oracle package wrappers and repositories.

• Craft accurate and efficient queries against the Quantum Oracle schema.

• Improve GraphQL execution by utilizing DataLoader, implementing sensible result limits, and optimizing resolver operations.

• Maintain JWT-based authentication and authorization while enforcing multi-tenant scoping.

• Convert business-layer process steps into API functionality that aligns with Quantum's business regulations.

• Develop and uphold unit tests across the API, business, and data layers.

• Utilize benchmark projects to detect performance regressions.

• Provide support for the Angular client that consumes the GraphQL API and ensure the schema and client contract remain in sync.

• Participate in worker scheduled tasks where API and background processes intersect.

• Document graph types, queries, and dependencies on the Oracle side.

• Engage in code reviews, weekly integration meetings, and discovery sessions.

• Collaborate with Corridor / Aviate parity teams to prevent redundant implementations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in developing production APIs using C# / .NET (ASP.NET Core or ASP.NET Web API).

• Proficient in object-oriented C# with a deep understanding of layered service architecture (data, business, API).

• Practical experience with Entity Framework (EF Core or EF6) and strong SQL skills.

• Comfortable interpreting schemas, crafting efficient queries, and understanding ORM behavior and N+1 issues.

• Experience with Oracle is highly desirable.

• Solid understanding of API security, including JWT / bearer tokens, authentication and authorization, and input validation.

• Proven ability to write unit tests and consider test coverage as part of the definition of done.

• Experience working with actual business or ERP data models where accuracy and auditability are crucial (finance, accounting, or inventory sectors).

• Strong written communication skills and the commitment to document schemas and any outstanding questions.
