Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Develop, construct, and sustain backend services and data pipelines that gather both on-chain and off-chain data (DEX metrics, LP performance, protocol analytics).

• Take full ownership of features from start to finish: technical refinement, development, testing, deployment to production, and ongoing monitoring.

• Create data models and manage PostgreSQL schemas for treasury analytics and reporting purposes.

• Write, deploy, and oversee ETL workflows using Apache Airflow (MWAA).

• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code initiatives with Pulumi (Python) on AWS.

• Rapidly prototype solutions when conditions change—such as updates to a DEX's fee structure, the launch of a new protocol, or the need for a strategy reassessment—and quickly share findings to enable team action.

• Engage in code reviews, pair programming, and refactoring to uphold code quality.

• Communicate proactively in asynchronous channels: share updates, identify blockers, and establish expectations.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Proficient in Python (3.11+) and SQL.

• Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, Secrets Manager, Parameter Store).

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools: Pulumi or Terraform.

• Strong understanding of ETL principles and data modeling techniques.

• Proficient in PostgreSQL: schema design, migrations, and writing queries.

• Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD practices (GitHub Actions or AWS CodePipeline).

• Understanding of EVM chains (Ethereum, Avalanche) and basic Web3 concepts (wallets, transactions, DEXes).

• Excellent async communication skills.

• Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment and work with unfamiliar parts of the stack.
