Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems, with a focus on high availability, low latency, and cost efficiency.

• Serve as the subject matter expert in infrastructure when creating new products and integrating new technologies into our existing product offerings.

• Work closely with engineering and research teams to seamlessly integrate infrastructure components with product functionalities, ensuring optimal system performance and user satisfaction.

• Create event-driven architectures and develop APIs and microservices to facilitate real-time processing and analytics.

• Guarantee system reliability, performance, and scalability through effective monitoring, logging, and error-handling mechanisms.

• Keep abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and methodologies, applying this knowledge to improve our infrastructure capabilities.

• Engage in code reviews, contribute to open-source initiatives, and mentor junior engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting related to applications and backend software development.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Proficiency in cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.

• Programming/Development expertise in Python, Node.js, Go, Ruby, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems.

• Familiarity with frameworks such as Django, Flask, OpenAPI, FastAPI, Spring Boot, and Express.js.

• Experience with databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.

• Knowledge of API management using REST and GraphQL.

• Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker Swarm.

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science or other related technical fields.
