Software Engineer – AI & Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, sustain, and enhance AI-driven applications, autonomous agents, and workflow automation solutions.

• Construct systems that create content strategies and allocate tasks within AI/agent workflows.

• Engage with LLM orchestration, prompt engineering, agent frameworks, and human-in-the-loop methodologies.

• Create AI workflows that integrate both internal systems and external platforms.

• Assess and enhance AI-generated outputs for precision, quality, reliability, and uniformity.

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support software applications and internal engineering solutions.

• Build integrations with both internal systems and third-party platforms using APIs.

• Contribute to Python and TypeScript codebases, system architecture, and technical design.

• Automate repetitive tasks to boost engineering and operational efficiency.

• Develop and sustain AWS cloud infrastructure and application environments utilizing Terraform.

• Aid in infrastructure configuration, deployment, scaling, security, credentials, access management, and operational upkeep.

• Participate in the engineering on-call rotation and assist with production incidents.

• Monitor and triage application and infrastructure alerts using Datadog and Sentry.

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and stabilize production challenges, including database, payment, integration, synchronization, and infrastructure incidents.

• Analyze root causes and contribute to incident response protocols, playbooks, and post-incident documentation.

• Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability across applications and infrastructure.

• Create and enhance Datadog monitors, dashboards, alerts, and operational visibility.

• Facilitate observability for application failures, message queues, infrastructure events, database problems, and system performance.

• Support Databricks pipelines, dashboards, and data-related workflows.

• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to the sharing of engineering knowledge.

• Recommend enhancements for technical, operational, and process improvements.

• Collaborate with engineers and internal stakeholders to deliver effective technical solutions.

• Stay updated with the latest developments in AI, agent frameworks, cloud infrastructure, and software engineering technologies.

• Carry out other related tasks as reasonably assigned by the client.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in software engineering, application development, platform engineering, or a comparable technical position.

• Extensive experience with Python and/or TypeScript along with modern software development practices.

• Practical experience in developing AI-powered applications, LLM workflows, autonomous agents, or AI-driven automation systems.

• Strong understanding of LLM orchestration, prompt engineering, and agent-based workflows.

• Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud platforms and Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.

• Experience in production support, incident response, monitoring, and observability practices.

• Proficient with APIs, integrations, and cloud-based applications.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities to investigate and resolve complex technical issues.

• Comfortable working across various areas of the technology stack and eager to learn new technologies.

• Able to work independently in a fully remote setting with minimal supervision.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
