Software Engineer – AI-Native CAD Integrations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance integrations with CAD vendors' file formats and scripting systems.

• Conduct reverse engineering on proprietary binary and text-based formats.

• Contribute to the evolution of Quilter's internal PCB representation.

• Produce reliable, thoroughly tested code.

• Utilize and assist in creating the next generation of agent-driven workflows.

• Take ownership of features from design through to implementation, testing, and rollout.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-7 years of experience in software engineering, particularly in backend or systems work.

• Proficient in Python with a strong skill set.

• A genuine enthusiasm for coding agents.

• Ability to navigate ambiguous problems, especially those related to reverse engineering.

• General understanding of binary formats.

• Strong foundational skills in design, testing, and debugging.

• Excellent communication skills and a high level of ownership within a fast-paced startup environment.
