Software Engineer – AI & Machine Learning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain scalable software applications utilizing Python and contemporary web frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

• Enhance and develop machine learning models, clustering algorithms, and NLP solutions aimed at automated defect analysis and pattern identification.

• Construct AI-driven diagnostic systems that adeptly classify, categorize, and route operational tickets.

• Design, optimize, and oversee SQL databases, queries, and data models that facilitate extensive analytics and real-time processing.

• Develop and manage RESTful APIs that support AI-enhanced applications and enterprise integrations.

• Refine clustering algorithms to minimize manual involvement in defect categorization and operational workflows.

• Collaborate with Product Management, QA, Engineering, and Operations teams to convert business needs into scalable technical solutions.

• Investigate, assess, and apply cutting-edge AI, machine learning, and software engineering technologies that enhance product capabilities.

• Engage in Agile practices including sprint planning, code reviews, retrospectives, and technical design discussions.

• Continuously enhance application performance, scalability, maintainability, and software quality.

• Document technical designs, AI models, engineering standards, and development best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–8+ years of experience in software development with Python and modern web frameworks.

• Strong expertise in SQL, database design, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.

• Practical experience with machine learning frameworks including Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Pandas, and NumPy.

• Significant experience in developing clustering algorithms such as K-Means, DBSCAN, and Hierarchical Clustering.

• Proficient in creating Natural Language Processing (NLP) solutions, including text classification, entity extraction, sentiment analysis, and language models.

• Familiarity with Generative AI concepts and AI-assisted software development workflows.

• Strong grasp of feature engineering, data preprocessing, model validation, and model optimization.

• Experience in designing, developing, and utilizing REST APIs.

• Knowledge of data pipeline architecture, ETL processes, and real-time data processing.

• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases that support analytics workloads.

• Acquainted with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and contemporary DevOps practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
