Senior AI Engineer – Professional Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Saudi Arabia.

📋 Description

• Work closely with customer stakeholders to grasp their business objectives, pinpoint high-impact use cases, and establish technical requirements for AI solutions.

• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive AI solutions utilizing the DataRobot platform and various open-source tools.

• Create and deploy agents on DataRobot by leveraging widely-used frameworks such as Langgraph, CrewAI, and Llama Index.

• Construct custom GenAI chatbots and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.

• Develop and implement traditional machine learning models for forecasting, churn prediction, and fraud detection.

• Serve as a subject matter expert on the DataRobot platform and contemporary AI/ML development, advising customers on best practices for MLOps, model governance, and scaling AI initiatives.

• Ensure that the solutions you create are robust, scalable, and align with the customer's business goals.

• Effectively convey complex technical concepts and project results to both technical and non-technical audiences, from data scientists to C-level executives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Approximately 6-8 years of practical experience in AI application development, software engineering, machine learning engineering, or a comparable role.

• A Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.

• Hands-on experience with a leading cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Familiarity with the DataRobot AI Platform is highly advantageous.

• Understanding of MLOps principles and tools for model CI/CD, monitoring, and governance.

• Strong proficiency in Python along with common data science libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy, etc.).

• Practical experience with Generative AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and vector databases.

• Proven experience in developing and deploying applications, including creating REST APIs (e.g., using Flask, FastAPI) to serve ML models and GenAI logic.

• Proficiency in containerization using Docker and experience in deploying and managing applications on container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (K8s).
