Software Engineer, AI Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop and deploy features on our real-time bidding platform, where performance and accuracy are paramount.

• Utilize AI tools effectively to accelerate code delivery — take full ownership of what you create from start to finish.

• Participate in the modernization and rewriting of sections of our legacy platform using AI technologies.

• Engage across the entire stack as necessary — backend engineers extend their expertise beyond just the API layer.

• Influence how the team integrates AI into daily workflows, focusing on enhancements and performance improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of backend engineering experience in a compiled, statically-typed language such as Java, Kotlin, Go, Rust, C#, or Scala.

• Proficient in distributed systems: understanding consistency trade-offs, failure modes, and asynchronous processing.

• Experience with relational databases and familiarity with at least one in-memory or NoSQL database (e.g., Redis, Aerospike, Cassandra).

• Proven track record of deploying applications to production and maintaining them — including monitoring, alerting, and an on-call mindset.

• Practical experience using Git, implementing testing strategies, and managing CI/CD pipelines.

• AI & LLM Experience: Have built and deployed at least one feature powered by LLM in a production environment.

• Understanding of prompt design for reliable output and evaluation strategies for AI features.

• Bonus: Familiarity with RAG pipelines, tool-calling agents, or vector databases.
