Software Engineer 2

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Independently design and develop products for customers and associates.

• Create, implement, and support production applications.

• Engage in configuration, security, resilience, performance tuning, and production monitoring.

• Collaborate with UX, engineering, and product management teams to develop secure, reliable, and scalable software solutions.

• Document, review, and ensure adherence to quality and change control standards.

• Work alongside the Product Team to guarantee that user stories are ready for developers, clear, and testable.

• Write custom code or scripts to automate infrastructure, monitoring services, and testing scenarios.

• Develop custom code or scripts for destructive testing to ensure resilience in production.

• Carry out program configuration, modification, and setup activities for large-scale projects.

• Configure commercial off-the-shelf solutions to meet business requirements.

• Create dashboards, logging, alerting, and responses to proactively identify and resolve issues.

• Collaborate in agile processes and contribute to team enhancements.

• Engage in both formal and informal learning and experimentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen years old.

• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

• 1-3 years of relevant professional experience.

• Proficiency in GoLang and backend API development is essential.

• Familiarity with Grafana, Prometheus, and Google Cloud Platform.

• Experience in writing SQL queries for relational databases.

• Knowledge of version control systems.

• Experience with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.

• Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language, preferably Java.

• Experience with source code version control.

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and React.

• Experience with relational or NoSQL database technologies.

• Understanding of cloud computing techniques.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools.

• Experience in microservice-based architecture.

• Competence in modern debugging and root cause analysis techniques.

• Exposure to security frameworks for user and service authorization and authentication.

• Experience in creating and executing unit, functional, destructive, and performance tests.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field of study.

• Minimum of 2 years of work experience.
