Software Development Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive full stack solutions utilizing Java (Spring Boot) and React.

• Build and improve payment processing systems, focusing on transaction workflows and integrations with external service providers.

• Create secure and scalable RESTful APIs and backend services.

• Develop responsive and high-quality user interfaces using React.

• Ensure the payment systems maintain high availability, performance, and scalability.

• Implement secure coding practices that comply with financial and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver resilient solutions.

• Engage in system design, architectural decisions, and code reviews.

• Diagnose and resolve intricate production issues.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in full stack development.

• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and React (including modern hooks and state management).

• Experience in building enterprise-scale applications, ideally in payments or financial services.

• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

• Experience with REST APIs, asynchronous processing, and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).

• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Familiarity with authentication and security standards (e.g., OAuth2, JWT, PCI-DSS awareness).

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Proficient in Git and CI/CD tools.

• Must be available to work 4-5 hours of overlap with the EST timezone.
