This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

• Oversee the maintenance of our website.

• Design pages, address bugs, and complete various pages as required.

• Conduct research and utilize WordPress and PHP software effectively.

• Integrate new features based on design and functional specifications.

• Collaborate closely with the IT Director of Technology, while primarily working independently.

• Strong time management skills are crucial for success in this position.

• A high level of communication is essential when coordinating in a remote setting.

• Currently enrolled as a student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities in English are mandatory.

• Eagerness to learn general programming concepts and specific frameworks and methodologies on the job.

• Experience with WordPress, including theme customization, plugin management, and overall WordPress development.

• Strong knowledge of PHP, especially in relation to WordPress development.

• Ability to work harmoniously and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Capability to work remotely and manage one’s own schedule to meet deadlines.

• Experience with Google Workspace is a plus.

• Submission of a portfolio showcasing previous work is required to demonstrate your skills.

• Availability to attend weekly Tech Department meetings, typically held on Wednesday evenings.
