Software Development Engineer – Integration, IT Systems & APIs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain API integrations between enterprise IT systems and both financial and non-financial applications.

• Create and oversee automation workflows for managing user lifecycles, including onboarding, offboarding, and access provisioning.

• Integrate and manage enterprise tools such as Google Workspace, Darwinbox HRMS, Slack, and other SaaS applications.

• Develop and maintain middleware solutions to facilitate secure and scalable IT integrations.

• Convert IT and business requirements into technical solutions and automation workflows.

• Ensure secure integration practices, encompassing authentication (OAuth, API keys, SAML) and data handling protocols.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for IT processes, integration architecture, and automation logic.

• Collaborate with Security and Compliance teams to support ITGC, audit, and access governance requirements.

• Design and implement role-based access control (RBAC) and provisioning workflows across integrated systems.

• Create automation for access reviews, entitlement mapping, and deprovisioning controls.

• Develop integrations with ITSM tools (e.g., Atomicwork) to automate request, approval, and provisioning workflows.

• Implement event-driven integrations using webhooks and APIs to facilitate real-time updates across systems.

• Conduct data validation and reconciliation between systems (e.g., HRMS vs identity platforms).


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in software development, IT automation, or API integrations.

• Strong hands-on experience with Python or Java programming languages.

• Proven experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and system integrations.

• Understanding of identity and access management (IAM) principles and user provisioning workflows.

• Experience with SaaS platforms including Google Workspace, HRMS tools, and collaboration tools.

• Familiarity with authentication protocols such as OAuth 2.0, SAML, and API tokens.

• Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) tools like Okta and Tuebora.

• Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., Atomicwork, ServiceNow).

• Exposure to integration platforms such as Zapier, Workato, and MuleSoft.

• Familiarity with Google Admin APIs, Darwinbox APIs, and Slack APIs.

• Understanding of ITGC, SOX controls, and access governance processes.

• Experience in SaaS or enterprise environments.

• Familiarity with automation scripting and event-driven workflows.
