Software Development Engineer in Test III – Lead Gen

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Taking responsibility for the quality of deliverables, which includes new features and enhancements.

• Working closely with the product and engineering teams to understand requirements and user workflows.

• Identifying and resolving bottlenecks in the quality assurance process to facilitate continuous improvement.

• Developing effective manual test cases and performing functional, ad hoc, and regression testing.

• Exhibiting strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail, particularly in managing multiple test executions concurrently.

• Mentoring and guiding team members, promoting a culture of ongoing learning and improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience using defect tracking systems to report, monitor, and rectify defects.

• Expertise in API testing and performance testing utilizing tools such as JMeter and Postman.

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and browser debugging/console tools.

• Experience in test automation, preferably with Selenium or any other relevant framework.

• Practical experience with both white box and black box testing methodologies.

• Familiarity with at least one version control system, such as Git or SVN.

• A solid understanding of Agile software development methodologies (Kanban or Scrum) and the role of Quality Assurance within these frameworks.

• Competent programming skills in Java, Ruby, Python, Node.js, or JavaScript.

• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts and Design Patterns.

• Practical knowledge of Test Automation techniques, frameworks, and tools.

• Proficient knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Codemagic, Jenkins, or Bitrise.
