This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Execute strategies that enhance release integrity β encompassing automation within CI/CD pipelines and validation processes that boost confidence in deployments.
β’ Assess spatial algorithms, ensure data accuracy, and evaluate system performance within our mapping platform.
β’ Develop quality health metrics and dashboards that provide teams with clear insights into product stability, readiness for release, and effectiveness of tests.
β’ Lead initiatives for internal tooling that enhance the developer experience, enabling teams to test, evaluate, and deliver with greater confidence.
β’ Collaborate across engineering, infrastructure, and product to pinpoint opportunities for system-wide quality enhancements and champion automation-first methodologies.
β’ Utilize data and experimentation to continually refine our quality approach, ensuring we focus on the most significant areas.
β’ Collaborate with fellow engineers to establish top-tier quality measures that align with the overall quality strategy, emphasizing monitoring and observability.
β’ Knowledge of contemporary quality engineering best practices, with the discernment to know when to apply or adapt them in a pragmatic manner.
β’ Strong technical background in release management, automation frameworks, and CI/CD systems, with a track record of enhancing release reliability through data-driven quality initiatives.
β’ Over 2 years of experience in creating and maintaining test automation across various layers (integration, end-to-end) for complex applications, using modern programming languages such as C++/C#, GD Script, or Python.
β’ Documented experience employing shift-left quality practices that enhance code quality, boost deployment confidence, and increase developer velocity.
β’ Practical experience with performance, resilience, and security testing, including the integration of these checks into CI/CD pipelines and observability frameworks.
β’ Experience in building internal tools or developer utilities that improve testability, observability, and overall release integrity.
β’ Algorithmic Validation: Testing route optimization, geofencing, spatial clustering, and topology rules to ensure application accuracy in fields such as navigation or logistics.
β’ Robust understanding of API quality, including contract validation and dependency testing in distributed systems.
β’ Proven ability to foster quality, ownership, and best practices across teams.
β’ Strong collaboration and communication skills, capable of promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
