Software Development Engineer in Test

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Design and develop comprehensive integration and API test automation frameworks.

• Create CI/CD quality gates to identify regressions prior to merging.

• Focus intently on edge cases: revoked keys, out-of-order events, and race conditions.

• Conduct testing across Veridian’s entire product ecosystem: wallet, services, and libraries.

• Work in collaboration with frontend and backend engineers to enhance testability.

• Manage test environments, oversee test data management, and produce reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years in an SDET or test automation position.

• Robust hands-on experience in developing production-grade automation frameworks using languages such as TypeScript and Java.

• Familiarity with mobile testing tools (Appium, Maestro, or similar).

• Background in security-sensitive systems (key management, cryptographic processes).

• Experience in fault-tolerant domains (out-of-order messaging, connectivity issues).

• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitHub Actions), containers (Docker), and lifecycle tools (Git, Jira/Confluence).

• Self-motivated, independent, and meticulous in uncovering details that others may overlook.
