Software Development Engineer – Azure CLI, Azure PowerShell

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain features for Azure CLI using Python or Azure PowerShell utilizing C#

• Produce clean, scalable, and thoroughly documented code

• Engage in code reviews and contribute to best engineering practices

• Collaborate with global teams to provide high-quality solutions

• Participate in open-source development and CI/CD workflows

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

• At least 2 years of experience in software development

• Extensive knowledge of Python (for CLI) or C# (for PowerShell)

• Strong problem-solving and design abilities

• Proven enthusiasm for quality, performance, and engineering excellence

• Familiarity with open-source development methodologies

• Proficient in English (writing, reading, listening, and speaking)

• Ability to communicate in Mandarin is preferred

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools is preferred

• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) is preferred

• Experience utilizing automation and DevOps tools (Git) to support and manage CI/CD pipelines is preferred

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical competencies with complex technical systems is preferred

• Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux servers is preferred
