Software Development Engineer – AI Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement AI agents and intelligent applications that address customer and business needs.

• Design, create, and sustain scalable backend services and APIs that enable AI-driven experiences.

• Create full-stack solutions that encompass user-facing interfaces and backend systems.

• Integrate large language models, AI services, data platforms, and third-party APIs.

• Work collaboratively with engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver features and products.

• Investigate emerging technologies and contribute innovative ideas to enhance GoDaddy’s AI capabilities and customer experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Strong expertise in Python, TypeScript, or comparable programming languages.

• Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs and backend services.

• Practical experience in building or supporting applications based on AI, machine learning, or large language models.

• Familiarity with prompt engineering, agentic workflows, and AI integrations.

• Experience in developing cloud-native applications on AWS.

• Knowledge of AWS services such as S3, IAM, Apache Airflow, and other compute, storage, networking, and security services.

• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, testing, debugging, version control, CI/CD, production operations, and full-stack application development.

• Additional qualification includes experience with databases, data pipelines, and distributed systems.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is also an additional qualification.

• This position is not available for candidates located in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.
