Software Development Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical assistance to the operational team to ensure issues are resolved within established service level agreements (SLAs).

• Transform product requirements into clear specifications and delegate tasks to team members.

• Design technical solutions to address product and engineering challenges.

• Conduct code reviews to maintain high standards.

• Ensure adherence to best practices in software development.

• Implement effective processes for software development that encompass the entire software development life cycle.

• Establish robust CI/CD pipelines to guarantee safe software deployment that is thoroughly tested prior to release.

• Keep product documentation current and comprehensive.

• Engage in software development to support teams when necessary, exemplifying best practices.

• Create an effective working structure within an agile framework to ensure a steady workflow.

• Serve as a key technical liaison for sales personnel, ensuring that customer requirements and technical aspects are clearly understood and communicated.

• Assist sales teams in grasping complex technical concepts and help them frame this information into effective messaging for client and market-facing discussions.

• Generate executive reports to monitor delivery against milestones, mitigate risks, and plan in alignment with programme objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in engineering management, preferably within a startup or scale-up environment.

• More than 5 years of hands-on software engineering experience.

• Proficient in both front-end UX development and back-end technologies.

• Strong experience with databases.

• Familiar with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.

• Experience in establishing and configuring robust CI/CD pipelines.

• Proven track record of leading teams through complex, multi-disciplinary technical projects.

• Capable of writing clear documentation and regularly updating task management tickets.

• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.

• Demonstrated ability to design robust systems that fulfill stakeholder requirements.

• Willingness to provide support internationally across different time zones.

• Experience with React Native is desirable.

• Familiarity with IoT, embedded systems, or hardware-software integration is desirable.

• Data engineering experience is desirable.

• Exposure to scientific computing or numerical programming languages (Julia, MATLAB, NumPy, or similar) is desirable.
