PowerApps Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• The main focus of this position is on the development of PowerApps.

• Applicants should possess extensive hands-on experience and demonstrate confidence in creating PowerApps solutions.

• Design, create, and sustain PowerApps applications to automate workflows and improve operational processes.

• Construct, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and data models utilizing Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or other visualization platforms.

• Collaborate with end users and technical teams to effectively comprehend and integrate data outputs into visual representations.

• Convert complex data insights into clear, understandable information for stakeholders, facilitating data-driven decision-making.

• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across reports and dashboards.

• Identify critical data attributes (e.g., financial, biometric, personnel-related) essential for performance analysis and trend recognition.

• Conduct training sessions when necessary for CBP and contractor staff on data analysis tools and methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in developing PowerApps solutions for business process automation and data integration.

• At least 3 years of experience handling large datasets using Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or other similar dashboarding tools.

• Strong expertise in PowerApps and Power BI (or a similar dashboarding tool) is essential.

• Proficiency in Excel is also required.

• Familiarity with Power Automate and SharePoint is preferred.

• Exceptional communication skills are necessary to gather requirements, present solutions, and translate complex data findings into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related discipline; Certification in Power Platform or data analytics tools is an advantage.

• Must be a U.S. citizen capable of passing a background check by the client agency. DHS clearance with CBP/ICE or DoD Top-Secret is preferred.
