Software Developer in Test

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Design and implement the internal testing framework (developed in Java and partially open source).

• Develop new testing tools and internal services.

• Automate repetitive tasks to enhance efficiency for yourself and your team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in test automation utilizing Java.

• Comprehensive knowledge of testing methodologies.

• Skills in unit testing and code refactoring.

• Proficiency with Git and IntelliJ IDEA.

• Capability to operate within Linux, Mac, and Windows environments.

• Fundamental understanding of SQL (able to craft simple queries with multiple joins and filter out unnecessary data).

• Proficient in English at an upper-intermediate level or higher.

• The following qualifications will be highly advantageous:

• Experience with NoSQL and/or distributed databases.

• Particularly if you have worked with Apache Ignite™.

• Background in testing or extensive experience with distributed systems.

• Willingness to tackle complex challenges, even when others have declined.

• Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to yourself and colleagues from R&D.

• Expert-level proficiency with the Java ecosystem.
