Software Developer II – ShareGate Migrate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Deliver new features and enhancements to the ShareGate Migration Tool that users will recognize and appreciate.

• Collaborate with the Product Manager and Product Designer to convert customer requirements into implemented solutions that address genuine user issues.

• Update the codebase to ensure the application remains efficient, maintainable, and in line with contemporary engineering standards.

• Enhance our testing frameworks to identify regressions early and maintain product reliability as it scales.

• Assist the support team with intricate technical challenges to expedite customer resolutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in delivering commercial products that have strong user adoption;

• Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining desktop or commercial applications using C#/.NET.

• In-depth knowledge of dependency injection principles.

• Skilled in using AI tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot, etc.) to enhance development workflows, from code generation and review to documentation and debugging.

• Strong discernment in evaluating AI-generated content, with full responsibility for the security, quality, and accuracy of published code.

• Excellent debugging and problem-solving abilities, capable of addressing complex technical issues.

• A talent for clear, proactive communication and attentive listening. You take ownership of your work, operate transparently, and keep your team updated.

• Experience with React is a bonus.

• Familiarity with the Microsoft API ecosystem (Graph SDK, MSAL, SharePoint CSOM/REST) is advantageous.
