Software Developer – Full Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, and sustain software systems, emphasizing performance, reliability, and long-term maintainability.

• Execute key initiatives from start to finish, encompassing ideation, requirement analysis, technical design, development, testing, and product deployment.

• Assume complete responsibility for assigned tasks, including implementation specifics, quality assurance, edge case handling, and follow-up post-release.

• Produce clean, well-organized, and thoroughly tested code, ensuring adequate test coverage and compliance with engineering standards.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools and processes to enhance development efficiency, debugging, and documentation while validating all outputs through sound engineering judgment.

• Collaborate with product, design, and other teams to ensure solutions meet customer needs and fit into the broader system context.

• Engage in continuous learning and improvement, maintaining curiosity about innovative software development methods and sharing insights with the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 3 years of experience in building and maintaining production software systems.

• Strong grasp of software engineering principles, including object-oriented design, separation of concerns, and basic system design.

• Proficient in backend development using frameworks like Ruby on Rails or Python-based stacks, including the creation and maintenance of RESTful APIs.

• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL), covering schema design and writing efficient, maintainable queries.

• Practical experience in developing frontend features using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.

• Proven ability to write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for production systems.

• Working knowledge of LLM fundamentals, prompt engineering principles, and the inference layer.

• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code in daily development activities.

• Experience implementing AI-assisted workflows throughout the development lifecycle, with the capability to validate AI-generated outputs for correctness, security, and maintainability.

• Familiarity with building or integrating straightforward LLM-powered features or internal workflows, including working with prompt templates, prompt engineering patterns, API-based model calls, or lightweight RAG-style implementations.

• Strong communication skills, effective teamwork across various teams, and a commitment to taking ownership of technical outcomes.
