Software Developer, Backend – C++, PHP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Development, upkeep, and optimization of applications related to data management.

• Translating functional requirements into technical solutions (design, development, testing).

• Designing and adjusting validation algorithms within databases.

• Engaging in C++, PHP, and SQL-based database development (with a focus on SQL / Oracle).

• Maintaining and improving import and export procedures.

• Managing tickets and actively participating in agile processes (Daily stand-ups, Sprint planning).

• Creating and maintaining technical documentation while providing support in 3rd-level assistance.

• Collaborating closely with the team, business units, and quality assurance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Several years of professional experience (approximately 3–5 years) in software or database development.

• Hands-on knowledge of C++ and/or PHP, along with experience in databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL).

• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Git, and Confluence.

• Ideally, experience with additional technologies like Python or Perl.

• Quick learner with a passion for complex technical subjects.

• Proficient in German (minimum B2/C1 level).
