Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Develop and deploy AI agent functionalities from start to finish using Node.js/TypeScript services on AWS.

• Create interfaces for configuring, testing, and monitoring AI agents.

• Enhance the AI agent platform with skills, workflows, sandboxes, tools, connectors, tracing, audit, and orchestration features.

• Integrate and orchestrate providers for LLM, STT, and TTS.

• Implement prompt and context engineering, tool invocation, structured outputs, streaming, and effective failure management.

• Establish evaluations, tracing, and monitoring to ensure AI quality is measurable and ready for production.

• Design with a focus on latency, reliability, cost-effectiveness, privacy, and security.

• Lead product discovery, challenge project scope, suggest solutions, and take ownership of features post-release.

• Utilize quality and adoption metrics to drive iterations.

• Engage in code reviews, architectural choices, knowledge sharing, and collaboration across the AI Agents team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in commercial software engineering.

• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and backend development with Node.js.

• Frontend experience with React or an equivalent technology.

• Proven experience in building and deploying LLM-powered features used by real users in production environments.

• Familiarity with prompt and context engineering, tool/function invocation, structured outputs, RAG, streaming, and managing non-deterministic behavior.

• Experience in evaluations, tracing, monitoring, and regression detection for AI systems.

• Strong experience with AWS in production, particularly in serverless and/or containerized settings.

• Proficient in Lambda/SAM, ECS, SQS, DynamoDB, RDS, and OpenSearch.

• Solid understanding of REST/API design, WebSockets, SQL and NoSQL data modeling, caching, testing, CI/CD, and debugging in production.

• Strong sense of ownership and product orientation.

• Proficient in English at B2 level or higher.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity and translate ideas into implemented features.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred; no specific educational credentials are required.
