Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Participate in the creation and upkeep of internal tools and services.

• Produce clean, dependable, and thoroughly tested code utilizing Test-Driven Development (TDD).

• Develop and manage automated tests to guarantee code quality and system reliability.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in backend systems, frequently collaborating with clients to comprehend the challenges.

• Work alongside the team on architecture, design, and implementation tasks.

• Take part in code reviews and team discussions to enhance your expertise.

• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and understand practical use cases.

• Assume responsibility for issues and see them through to resolution.

• Utilize our proprietary programming language and tools to interface with external services, create datapoints, replicate calculations, and deploy machine learning models.

• Some background in coding with a backend language (e.g., Node.js, Python, Go, etc.).

• A fundamental grasp of testing methodologies and test automation.

• An interest in system design, infrastructure, and automation.

• Comfortable with clear communication with both teammates and clients.
