Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Ongoing development and enhancement of current internal interfaces among systems and applications.

• Evaluation, design, and execution of new integration solutions (REST APIs, web services, data imports/exports).

• Technical upgrades of customer platforms (frontend and backend) aimed at enhancing the user experience.

• Development and customization of modules within the EVI CRM system (e.g., process automation or data modeling).

• Assistance with the system integration of external applications and partner solutions.

• Involvement in architectural decisions and the expansion of the software landscape.

• Monitoring and troubleshooting of interfaces and processes in a production environment.

• Creation and upkeep of technical documentation, as well as handover to support teams.

• Close collaboration with business units for requirements gathering and solution design.

• Active participation in internal development processes (code reviews, CI/CD, tooling).

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed training as an IT specialist in application development or an equivalent qualification.

• Strong knowledge of one or more programming languages (including JavaScript).

• Experience with APIs, REST, or SOAP interfaces.

• Familiarity with relational databases (especially MS SQL).

• Experience in web development.

• Background in developing or customizing CRM systems, preferably EVI.

• Understanding of software architectures, clean code principles, and modular development.

• Proficient use of version control (Git) and deployment processes.

• Team-oriented and structured working style with a strong focus on quality.

• Enthusiasm for continuously improving existing systems and adopting new technologies.
