This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Create tailored solutions and align business processes through the adoption of scrum and agile methodologies.
• Validate program functionality by performing tests and adjusting program sequences and/or codes.
• Collaborate and consult with project teams and end-users to ascertain application requirements.
• Design, develop, and implement new software or enhancements to existing software.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot bugs in current software, designing and deploying fixes.
• Assist in the creation and upkeep of product documentation.
• Collaborate closely with QA to ensure high-quality and timely software development within assigned responsibilities.
• Verify project requirements by reviewing program goals, input data, and output needs with analysts, supervisors, and clients.
• Encode project requirements by translating workflow information into computer language.
• Prepare user references by drafting operating instructions.
• Maintain historical records by documenting program development and revisions.
• Develop information systems by designing, creating, and installing software solutions.
• Prepare and implement solutions by defining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
• Enhance operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending modifications in policies and procedures.
• Establish a development environment for effective testing and integration.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer/Developer or in a related role.
• Proficient in PHP, Angular, and desktop development.
• Hands-on experience with front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like Angular JS, React, and Amber.
• Experience with server-side languages including Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, and .Net.
• Knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
• Understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience working in a Linux environment and with REST APIs.
• Background in designing interactive applications.
• Previous experience with AWS, Azure, Google, or OpenStack is a plus.
