This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Join a dynamic and cohesive team comprised of mid- to senior-level professionals.
• Design, develop, and implement customized software and database application functionalities for both legacy and modernized systems with minimal oversight.
• Collaborate as a member of a product team, supporting colleagues and demonstrating a “do what it takes” mentality to ensure the success of the product and team.
• Propose enhancements to the product(s) being supported.
• Actively engage in release and sprint planning, artifact creation, sprint testing, regression testing, demonstrations, retrospectives, and solution releases.
• Assist in release planning through conceptual design and the development/refinement of software engineering guidelines.
• Analyze intricate project-related challenges and devise innovative solutions encompassing scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Share ideas for system enhancements and conduct impact analysis for software modifications.
• Generate detailed specifications and write software code.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, designers, and subject matter experts to comprehend functional requirements.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Possession of a Secret clearance.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Must currently hold an active Secret clearance.
• Strong understanding of Java (Object-Oriented Programming concepts).
• Experience with React and Redux JavaScript libraries.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Google Go.
• Solid knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Service Offerings (CSO).
• Adherence to program configuration change control standards.
• Maintains awareness of feature and technical changes in the application.
• Experience with formal software development processes.
• A critical thinker capable of clarifying complex technical requirements.
• Agile certification.
• Understanding of secure coding practices, source code vulnerability mitigation, and remediation.
