This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• In the role of Delivery Manager, you will oversee the delivery of financial software solutions for global clients in the banking, payments, WealthTech, and insurance industries.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams that include Architects, Product Owners, and Business Analysts, you will manage projects related to cloud modernization, AI integration, and digital transformation initiatives.
• You will take charge of roadmap planning, resource allocation, budget management, and ensuring successful delivery within regulated financial environments where compliance, security, and quality are paramount.
• Developing and maintaining detailed project roadmaps that span 3-6 months, aligned with business priorities and technical limitations.
• Planning and overseeing team composition and resource allocation across various projects to ensure optimal capacity utilization.
• Managing project budgets, which includes cost estimation, tracking burn rates, financial forecasting, and optimizing profitability.
• Facilitating cross-functional collaboration among Architects, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and development teams to ensure alignment.
• Overseeing project scope, timelines, and deliverables for both fixed-price and Time & Materials (T&M) engagements.
• Leading Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning.
• Proactively identifying and mitigating project risks, dependencies, and blockers.
• Handling monthly settlements, invoice preparation, and financial reconciliation with clients and team members.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager or Delivery Manager within a software development or IT services environment.
• Demonstrated success in managing software development projects from start to finish, ideally within fintech or financial services.
• Strong business acumen with practical experience in project budget management, P&L responsibility, and margin optimization.
• Comprehensive understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, with real-world application in complex delivery settings.
• Experience in resource planning, capacity management, and roadmap development across multiple teams and projects.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence without formal authority.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, and roadmapping platforms.
• Fluency in English (minimum B2/C1 level) – both written and spoken.
