Software Architect IV

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee architectural and strategic aspects of software development projects.

• Articulate and define the architectural vision while exploring alternative methods to optimize design.

• Create models, component specifications, and interface documentation to support a scalable software architecture.

• Work collaboratively with product developers, product managers, and customer application experts to ensure software performance and feature integration are at their best.

• Lead integration initiatives for software components developed by various teams to create cohesive and efficient solutions.

• Offer expert-level technical advice and consultation across different departments within the organization.

• Direct and engage in research and planning initiatives that promote innovation and efficiency in software development.

• Formulate technical solutions to complex issues while exercising significant discretion in determining architectural goals and methodologies.

• Validate and enhance architectural decisions through prototyping, industry benchmarking, and system performance testing.

• Ensure the software architecture aligns with business objectives, security best practices, and compliance standards.

• Provide technical support for operational strategies aligned with your program, aiming to optimize processes, enhance productivity, and maintain quality across all program functions.

• Ensure that 100% of planned hours are completed and documented.

• Identify and communicate with leadership any opportunities that could foster growth within your area of work.

• Participate in growth initiatives as requested.

• Ensure all contractual deliverables are met or exceeded to the customer's satisfaction.

• Complete personal Professional Development Plan (PDP) and attend company meetings (with camera on).

• Build productive and positive professional relationships with clients within your program.

• Execute all contract requirements as assigned, in accordance with the contract-specific Labor Category and requirements.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Secret clearance.

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 10 years of relevant experience.

• Recognized as an emerging authority in software architecture, with extensive technical expertise in designing scalable and high-performance software solutions.

• Strong understanding of DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and contemporary software deployment methodologies.

• Hands-on experience with multiple programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.

• Experience with one or more leading cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).

• Proven capability to devise technical solutions to complex challenges while identifying innovative approaches to architectural issues.

• Strong familiarity with software development methodologies, system integration strategies, and architectural best practices.

• Ability to work independently with considerable latitude for judgment, while ensuring architectural decisions are aligned with business goals.

• Experience in directing research and technical planning efforts to improve software efficiency and reliability.
