This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• As a part of the Software Architecture team, you will contribute to the definition, design, and delivery of new features for Zaloni’s data management product, Arena.
• You will provide innovative thought leadership and drive advancements to shape Zaloni’s next generation of product offerings.
• Collaborating with various internal teams such as Product Management, Engineering, Professional Services, Customer Success, and Marketing, you will have the chance to influence the company’s strategic direction.
• Guide and empower scrum teams to continually enhance quality, agility, and velocity.
• Collaborate with the Product Management team to define features for the scrum teams.
• Assist in moving towards self-empowered scrum teams by mentoring and supporting scrum team members in feature and story grooming.
• Contribute to the solution approach for features.
• Mitigate risks associated with features through focused research spikes and prototypes.
• Explore technical feasibility for new design directions.
• Offer cross-team guidance on best practices related to design, code, and testing.
• Help to remove obstacles for the feature, CRR, and DevOps teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Engineering or a closely related field, or foreign equivalent, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in software development and architecture.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge and experience in building software products that offer enterprise-grade availability, scalability, performance, security, and recoverability.
• Active development skills with a specialization in one or more areas: server-side development (Java/Spring stack), user interface development (Angular stack), or big data development (Spark stack).
• Experience with cloud-native application architectures.
• Strong grasp of cloud technologies and extensive experience with at least one (1) major cloud platform.
• Ability to transition seamlessly from high-level product architecture to low-level software design.
• Experience with agile development methodologies; at least three (3) years of relevant experience.
• Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills across both technical and non-technical audiences.
