Software Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide technical consulting during the pre-sales phase: You will serve as the technical conscience for our sales team, translating intricate business needs into viable solution designs while impressing clients with your technical knowledge and approachability.

• Design and blueprint architecture: You will create robust, secure, and scalable software architectures for contemporary cloud platforms and actively assist in their implementation during project delivery.

• Conduct technology workshops and share insights: You will design and facilitate engaging tech workshops (e.g., focused on AI transformation or cloud strategies), demonstrating to clients what is technically achievable and establishing a foundation for successful collaboration.

• Act as a technical bridge and mentor: You will connect vision with execution, collaborating closely with our delivery teams during implementation, ensuring architectural quality through code and system reviews, and serving as a sparring partner for development.

• Advise clients and generate ideas: Even during implementation, you will remain the key technical contact for the client, identifying follow-up needs and exploring new technological opportunities (e.g., legacy system replacement) and relaying these insights back to our sales team.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess several years of experience in a similar role, with a background in hands-on software development or the DevOps field.

• You have a comprehensive understanding of modern software ecosystems and substantial experience with popular cloud platforms and contemporary CI/CD frameworks.

• You are a people-oriented individual, capable of articulating complex IT concepts to non-technical stakeholders, actively listening, and adeptly facilitating discussions among various stakeholders.

• You maintain a practical perspective on feasibility, keeping budget constraints in mind and seeking pragmatic solutions rather than becoming ensnared in perfectionism.

• A consistent "Security by Design" approach is second nature to you, ensuring the creation of future-proof and resilient systems.

• You communicate confidently and fluently in both German and English.
