Software Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate in defining the architecture for new solutions as well as maintaining existing architectures.

• Mentor developers on the design patterns that have been adopted.

• Assist in the selection of technologies suited for specific development projects.

• Provide support for integration tasks, including packaging and merging builds developed simultaneously.

• Engage in technology projects within the financial sector, focusing on the development, integration, and support of high-performance systems that handle large volumes of data.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Java Web development, including JEE/JSE, Spring, and JPA.

• Familiarity with JavaScript, Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.

• Experience working with SQL and IBM DB2 databases.

• Understanding of software architecture, including MVC, SOA, Design Patterns, and Microservices.

• Proficient in REST APIs, Web Services, XML, and system integration.

• Knowledge of messaging technologies such as JMS, WebSphere MQ, and WebSphere Message Broker.

• Experience in software testing and automation using JUnit, Selenium, and JMeter.

• Familiarity with CI/CD practices, TDD, ATDD, refactoring, and SonarQube.

• Understanding of version control systems and the Eclipse IDE.

• Basic understanding of Linux and COBOL/CICS.

• Knowledge of application security, including OWASP, LDAP, RACF, JAAS, and SSO.

• Experience with high-performance systems managing large data volumes.

• Familiarity with public and private cloud environments.

• Experience in working with microservices, containers, APIs, and multi-tenancy architecture.

• Understanding of Batch processing using Java.

• Knowledge of agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and XP (desirable).

• Familiarity with UX principles, usability, responsive interfaces, and PWA (desirable).

• Experience with technologies in the financial sector, including ISO 8583 and J/XFS (desirable).

• Knowledge of cryptography, digital certificates, and digital signatures (desirable).

• Experience with Java Swing (desirable).

• Knowledge of CMT and BMT for transaction management (desirable).

• Experience with solutions designed for high availability, performance, and large-scale transaction processing (desirable).
