Java Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and microservices.

• Implement new features and improve existing systems.

• Deploy software to production environments while ensuring reliability.

• Enhance application performance, security, and scalability.

• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, designers, and Product Managers.

• Engage in code reviews and initiatives for continuous improvement.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues.

• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

• Share knowledge and foster team development.

• Contribute to product development and system architecture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Approximately 5 years of experience in commercial software development.

• Proficient in Java development.

• Practical experience with microservices architecture.

• Familiarity with Apache Kafka and REST APIs.

• Experience utilizing Docker and Kubernetes.

• Background in working with cloud platforms (GCP or equivalent).

• Knowledge of Git, Maven/Gradle, Jira, Confluence, and CI/CD practices.

• Capability to deliver high-quality solutions independently.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Proficiency in English at B2/C1 level or above.
