Social Worker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial evaluations and develop diagnoses related to patients' substance use challenges.

• Deliver exceptional clinical care by employing evidence-based treatment techniques (CBT, DBT, CM, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Informed Treatment).

• Create personalized treatment plans collaboratively with each patient and monitor their progress.

• Document notes and all pertinent information in the EMR system.

• Collaborate and communicate with other members of the patient's care team to ensure effective coordination of care.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's Degree in social work from an accredited college or university is required.

• Must hold unrestricted licensure for independent clinical practice.

• A minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience and at least 1 year working with patients aiming to alter their relationship with alcohol (or another substance).

• Training, certification, and/or experience in CBT, DBT, CM, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma Informed treatment is essential.

• Knowledge and endorsement of the harm-reduction approach for treating substance use disorders (SUD) are necessary.

• Strong clinical abilities and capacity to demonstrate empathy are essential.

• Access to a reliable internet connection and a computer equipped with video capabilities is needed.

• Candidates must reside in the United States.
