Social Worker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial evaluations and develop diagnoses related to patients' substance use-specific challenges.

• Deliver exceptional clinical care by employing evidence-based treatment approaches (CBT, DBT, CM, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Treatment).

• Create personalized treatment plans collaboratively with each patient and monitor their progress.

• Document notes and all pertinent information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

• Collaborate and communicate with other members of the patient's care team to ensure effective coordination of care.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's Degree in social work from an accredited institution is required.

• Must have unrestricted licensure for independent clinical practice.

• A minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience, with at least 1 year working with patients aiming to alter their relationship with alcohol or another substance.

• Training, certification, and/or experience in CBT, DBT, CM, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Informed treatment is essential.

• Must understand and advocate for the harm-reduction model in treating Substance Use Disorders (SUD).

• Strong clinical skills coupled with the ability to demonstrate empathy are necessary.

• A reliable internet connection and a computer with video capabilities are required.
