Social Media Video Editor – Education

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Work closely with project teams and on-camera talent to create high-quality, platform-specific videos.

• Edit raw footage into videos ranging from 5 to 20 minutes for YouTube, as well as shorter 1 to 3-minute videos for TikTok.

• Source or produce copyright-compliant visuals, music, and sound effects.

• Incorporate text overlays, motion graphics, and visual enhancements customized for each platform.

• Collaborate with content producers to guarantee that the final videos align with quality expectations and project specifications.

• Implement best practices for pacing, storytelling, and audience engagement tailored to YouTube and TikTok viewers.

• Organize project files, ensure effective version control, and deliver edits within designated turnaround times.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in video editing, focusing on social media and long-form content (e.g., YouTube and TikTok).

• A strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in both short-form and long-form video editing.

• Expertise in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).

• Ability to craft compelling visual stories and engaging motion graphics.

• A solid grasp of platform-specific formatting, pacing, and audience engagement techniques.

• Familiarity with copyright-safe media sourcing and licensing regulations.

• Dependable time management and turnaround capabilities.
