Social Media Strategist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy for TikTok and Instagram from the ground up.

• Establish content pillars, brand positioning, and a regular posting schedule.

• Transform the client's concepts into refined short-form content.

• Produce and edit various types of content, including Reels, TikTok videos, Shorts, and other short-form videos, as well as graphics, captions, and written copy.

• Spearhead the personal rebranding effort and create a cohesive, premium, education-first identity.

• Generate content that informs audiences about life insurance, family protection, and generational wealth in an approachable, non-salesy manner.

• Cultivate the accounts organically to boost inbound interest, foster community engagement, and generate referrals.

• Monitor engagement metrics, provide performance reports, and continuously optimize the strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in building and expanding TikTok and Instagram accounts, with a portfolio showcasing clear results.

• Proficient in short-form video production, including ideation, filming direction, and editing.

• Strong capabilities in graphic design, caption creation, and copywriting.

• Proven track record in developing personal or founder-led brands, including successful rebranding initiatives.

• A keen eye for premium, aspirational aesthetics that appear curated rather than mass-produced or corporate.

• Ability to simplify educational or complex subjects in an engaging manner; familiarity with finance or insurance is advantageous.

• Emphasis on organic growth through community engagement and referrals, avoiding reliance on paid advertising tactics.

• Adaptable, proactive, and collaborative; capable of following direction while also taking initiative.
