This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage all social media and promotional initiatives across VAMOS brands (such as The Give N Go, Duel Nats) and various social platforms (including Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X, Discord, etc.).
• Direct content creation and collaborate with the broader VAMOS team to ensure effective distribution across all channels.
• Keep up-to-date with shifts in social media algorithms and content trends, providing the team with regular updates on how to integrate these changes into daily content and workflows.
• Partner with the VAMOS production team to brainstorm, create, and deliver distinctive content; assisting in identifying the best “social” material to derive from video-first productions.
• Collaborate closely with VAMOS and MIB leadership on content strategy, encompassing analytics analysis, audience insights, and spotting content trends.
• Provide real-time coverage for significant match events (such as World Cup Qualifiers, Copa América, Champions League nights), ensuring that VAMOS becomes the go-to second-screen destination for soccer in the Americas.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in leading social strategy within the sports/media sector across various brands and channels (extra credit for experience in high-pressure “live” newsroom settings and/or soccer-specific environments).
• Native or professional-level proficiency in both Spanish and English.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the global soccer landscape, with a particular passion for the stories surrounding soccer in the Americas (including CONCACAF, CONMEBOL, MLS, Liga MX, and Copa Libertadores).
• Skilled in mobile-first editing tools (such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Rush/After Effects) with a sharp eye for aesthetic trends that correspond with VAMOS’ brand identity.
• Capability to collaborate with a remote team and adaptability to work around the soccer schedule (weeknights, weekends) during key events in the primary leagues that VAMOS covers.
• A GFOP-level understanding of the current and historical tone of the Men in Blazers media network.
