Social Media Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Account Management: Establishing and configuring new accounts on various social media platforms;

• Profile Optimization: Continuous assessment and refinement of clients' social media profiles;

• Metrics Analysis and Reporting: Assessing the effectiveness of posts and campaigns, preparing comprehensive performance reports that include clear insights and strategic recommendations, and presenting these findings to clients;

• Competitor Research and Analysis: Keeping track of competitors' strategies and actions to uncover opportunities and potential threats;

• Content Creation and Planning: Generating ideas and creating written and visual content (in collaboration with the design team) for multiple platforms, tailoring language and format for each social network and target audience. Developing editorial calendars and scheduling posts to ensure optimal frequency and timing;

• Posting and Engagement: Publishing daily posts, actively interacting with users (comments, direct messages), addressing inquiries and feedback, and managing crises when necessary. Executing reposts, tags, and other actions that promote engagement and community development;

• Management of Multiple Clients: Capable of handling several accounts simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining high service quality for each client;

• Internal Collaboration: Involved in presenting team-developed projects to both external and internal clients. Managing social media crises and conflicts. Attending meetings;

• Quality and Approval: Ensuring the quality of content creation, social media interactions, and brand representation to achieve superior results. Reviewing and approving layouts, copy, and material samples before they are dispatched to clients. Confirming that publications are released as scheduled and accurately. Reviewing settings to keep brand accounts and profiles consistently updated;

• Business Development: Identifying and creating new business opportunities for the agency. Presenting projects to clients to ensure robust advocacy for the projects and to foster a trusting relationship with clients;

• Paid Promotions: Boosting posts independently or in partnership with the traffic manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, or related fields. Candidates lacking an academic degree but possessing specialized courses and proven market experience will also be considered;

• Demonstrated experience in a Social Media role, ideally within advertising or digital marketing agencies, with a focus on account management, digital or integrated planning, and campaign management;

• Comprehensive understanding of major social networks (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X/Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Google My Business, etc.) and their functionalities;

• Proficient in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Reportei, mLabs, Google Analytics, Excel);

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor language for diverse audiences and platforms;

• Familiarity with photo and video editing software (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, CapCut, Edits) and AI tools (Adapta, ChatGPT, Claude, Manus, among others) is an advantage;

• Experience with advertising campaigns such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and TikTok Ads;

• Ability to comprehend and adopt new techniques and technologies pertinent to clients' media strategies.
