This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Managing the social media presence of Make-A-Wish America across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Threads, and X.
• Developing, curating, publishing, and overseeing content across all social media channels in accordance with the organization's brand guidelines and corporate partner branding standards.
• Leading an agency that provides partial support for corporate content scheduling and posting.
• Serving as a social media advocate within the organization, ensuring that social media is thoughtfully integrated into partnerships, initiatives, and campaigns.
• Collaborating with the corporate team to create and implement partner pitches and campaign activations.
• Performing regular social listening, community management, and reporting tasks.
• Crafting and executing a strategy for social media engagement involving C-suite executives and board members.
• Assisting with social media influencer outreach, content planning, and activation support.
• Leading innovative content creation and curation initiatives, including live coverage of wishes, campaigns, and special events.
• Consulting, advising, coordinating, and providing training for social media practitioners at chapters on best practices, ensuring a cohesive approach to content.
• Managing high-visibility social marketing campaigns, including any necessary agency and contract management.
• Building and maintaining cross-functional relationships with chapter counterparts and internal colleagues at the National Office.
• Carrying out other job-related responsibilities as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Liberal Arts, Business, or a related field is required.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience is required, with preference given to candidates with a background in social media, marketing, or communications.
• Proven experience with the functionalities of Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, TikTok, LinkedIn, and social media management tools.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications, particularly demonstrated expertise in PowerPoint.
• Ability to develop engaging content and graphics.
• Familiarity with nonprofit organizations is a plus.
